Discover CAPS: Profession-Based Learning in Action

At Cedar Falls and Cedar Valley CAPS, our mission is simple: preparing all students for their purpose. We do that by creating experiences that connect learners with the community, real professionals, and authentic work.

Our CAPS Visit Days give educators, administrators, and community partners an opportunity to see that work firsthand. Visitors can experience both our high school CAPS programs and our 7th Grade CAPS model , including community-based learning environments in rural and urban settings.

Each year, we offer a fall Visit Day experience and a spring Visit Day experience, giving guests multiple opportunities to see CAPS in action.
